Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project management activities, including coordinating with technical project officers, organizing meetings, developing project schedules, and maintaining up-to-date project budgets. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with various departments and external parties, determining project responsibilities, and controlling project costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive project management activities, including coordinating with technical project officers, organizing meetings, developing project schedules, and maintaining up-to-date project budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and external parties, including procurement, sales/marketing, operations, finance/accounting, and the DOE.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains project database.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master of Science in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of Tools: experience with Smartsheet or other project management software.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in project management or construction with backgrounds in manufacturing or general contracting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solidwork/CAD experience.
  • PMP License.
  • Project or initial warehouse setup and/or automation experience.
