Our Engineering Department in Phoenix is expanding and seeking experienced Project Engineers to join their team. The Tucson division primarily focuses on Water/Wastewater and Mining projects, and this role will assist in the technical development of proposals and designs. If you have a passion for project management, there will be opportunities to enhance and refine those skills as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and crafting written proposals, with some technical writing as needed.
  • Supporting the development of water and wastewater design projects, including the design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, lift stations, piping, and other system components.
  • Managing and coordinating deliverables from subcontractors, vendors, and partner consultants.
  • Facilitating communication and information exchange between WestLand Resources, our subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree and/or a master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or related field.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in water/wastewater systems (4+ years preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
