Westland Resources is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team in Phoenix. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of proposals and designs for water and wastewater projects. Your technical expertise and project management skills will be essential in delivering high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal Development: Create and develop written proposals for water and wastewater projects, including technical writing and design.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the development of water and wastewater design projects, including designing water distribution and storage systems, wastewater collection systems, pumps stations, lift stations, piping and conveyance systems, and other water/wastewater system details.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate deliverables from subcontractors, vendors, and partner consultants.
- Client Communication: Coordinate communication and delivery of information between Westland Resources, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Relationship Building: Develop relationships with current and future clients and vendors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in a related engineering discipline or field.
- Registration: Preference given to candidates registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience working with water/wastewater systems (four years preferred).
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
