Montgomery & Associates (M&A) is in search of a dedicated Hydrogeologist to become a vital part of our project team focused on environmental remediation. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work from various locations while engaging in meaningful project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute field investigations related to soil gas, groundwater, and indoor air quality.
  • Oversee a routine groundwater monitoring program to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate all aspects of well permitting, drilling, and construction activities.
  • Manage field teams and subcontractors to ensure project success.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies, municipalities, and water suppliers to facilitate project objectives.
  • Analyze data meticulously and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrology, or engineering; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant consulting experience.
  • Professional registration (P.G.) is preferred.
  • Experience in investigating subsurface hydrogeologic conditions and contaminant transport.
  • Familiarity with groundwater models, remediation technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with vapor intrusion assessments is advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, including technical writing and presentations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
  • Eligibility to work and reside in the United States.
