Sales Director

Greenham USA, a leading player in the grass-fed and commodity beef market, is expanding its US operations and seeking a seasoned sales professional to join its team.
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and be responsible for selling containers of commodity beef to foodservice, industrial, and retail accounts in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the sales of all commodity products, including trimmings, thin meats, and primal cuts
- Monitor inventory levels across inbound and storage, and optimize where necessary
- Provide forecasts, inventory, and sold position reports to management, the Australian-based sales team, and customers as required
- Liaise with import houses, storage facilities, and logistics companies to execute sales as needed
- Provide direction to Australian-based packing houses regarding shipping locations for all orders
- Monitor inventory valuations and adjust to reflect current market conditions
- Occasional interstate travel may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the Agricultural or Economic sector
- Minimum 5 years of experience in beef sales, with a preference for overlap between domestic and imported products
- Experience in the grass-fed and natural beef sector would be advantageous
- In-depth understanding of protein market analytics specific to the beef industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Existing industry relationships
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a steady feedback loop with management
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Preference for experience with Parity Factory, Salesforce, and Business Central
