The Department of Veteran Affairs is a robust healthcare organization devoted to delivering outstanding medical services to veterans. Our Comprehensive Cancer Center features onsite chemotherapy infusion and collaborates with NCI clinical trials. Our Hematology-Oncology team is committed to providing superior patient care while advancing the field of medicine.

Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Hematology-Oncology Staff Physician to:

  • Deliver thorough patient care, encompassing diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up for hematologic disorders and cancers
  • Engage in educational initiatives and quality improvement programs
  • Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Conduct clinical research and contribute to scholarly activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications

  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology-Oncology
  • ABIM Board eligibility/certification in Internal Medicine and Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Completion of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship in an ACGME accredited program (final year candidates are welcome)
  • Demonstrated scholarly activities, including clinical research interests in Hematology or Oncology
