Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Design and Verification Engineer to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and verifying safety-critical FPGA designs for a missile program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop SystemVerilog source code and simulation for safety electronic device applications
  • Operate independently and collaborate with a larger electrical team to develop electronic solutions in an Agile environment
  • Coordinate with system safety engineering and safety board meetings to ensure design compliance with government safety regulations
  • Communicate technical status and issues to program and functional leadership, customers, and suppliers
Requirements
  • Verilog/SystemVerilog design and self-checking test bench experience
  • Electrical engineering design experience on weapon development programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives
Security Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance
Desired Skills
  • Relevant senior electrical engineering experience on weapon development programs
  • UVM Testbench experience
  • Relevant electrical engineering experience with safety-critical design practices
  • Experience with electrical design using Agile methods and processes
