Job Summary:

Butler America Aerospace LLC is seeking a highly skilled FPGA design and verification engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for developing SystemVerilog source code and simulation for safety electronic device applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop SystemVerilog source code and simulation for safety electronic device applications
  • Collaborate with system safety engineering and safety board meetings to ensure design compliance with government safety regulations
  • Communicate technical status and issues to program and functional leadership, customers, and suppliers
  • Work independently and as part of a larger electrical team to develop electronic solutions in an Agile environment

Requirements:

  • Verilog/SystemVerilog design and self-checking test bench experience
  • Electrical engineering design experience on weapon development programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives

Security Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Relevant senior electrical engineering experience on weapon development programs
  • UVM Testbench Experience
  • Relevant electrical engineering experience with safety-critical design practices
  • Experience with electrical design using Agile methods and processes
