We are currently looking for a knowledgeable HVAC Product Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to assist our external sales and field teams with Unitary/Ductless products. If you possess experience in this area, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving, this position offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth within a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary expert for Unitary/Ductless products, offering consultative recommendations for product selection.
  • Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with both new and existing clients, providing product insights, conducting site visits, and collaborating with partners at all levels.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with outside sales teams, field technicians, and customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with our offerings.
  • Deliver technical product knowledge and training to both customers and internal team members.
  • Assist in preparing project quotes, ensuring updates for product changes and pricing adjustments are accurately reflected.
  • Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring all changes are communicated effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer quotes, correspondence, vendor pricing, and project status.
  • Align inventory management with job performance expectations.
  • Coordinate timely product deliveries to job sites.
  • Collaborate with branch personnel to ensure exceptional customer service from order through delivery and beyond.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge to uphold a professional image in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction-related sales, project management, or technical roles.
  • Familiarity with Unitary/Ductless products is essential.
  • Experience with estimating software such as BidTracer or PlanSwift is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, or drawings is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various organizational levels.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
