Position Summary

Carrier Enterprise (CE) serves as a prominent distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, components, and supplies through authorized HVAC/R dealers and contractors. Operating primarily within a business-to-business framework, CE’s offerings are marketed through licensed HVAC dealers and contractors who are independent entities. These dealers are responsible for the sale, delivery, and servicing of Carrier, Bryant, and Payne products to both residential and commercial clients within their respective markets. CE is recognized for its extensive range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, exceptional customer service, and efficient, time-saving solutions that establish CE as a leader in the industry. With over 200 locations across 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, and Canada, CE is well-equipped to meet the HVAC/R needs of its customers.

Key Responsibilities: Field Sales Engineer

  • Engage with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and business owners to meet annual sales and profit margin objectives.
  • Provide sales, design, and application training to key decision-makers mentioned above.
  • Collaborate with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to promote CE products.
  • Generate new business through structured prospecting efforts and enhance market share within the assigned territory.
  • Execute take-offs from plans and specifications; develop pricing estimates, draft proposals, and submit bids.
  • Participate actively in local and regional trade organizations and industry trade shows.
  • Offer and/or coordinate technical and product training sessions for customers.

Required Qualifications: Field Sales Engineer

  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
