This position will oversee and integrate the Building Automation System (BAS) Technician, and collaborate closely with Facility Management to maintain the logics, equipment, and daily monitoring operations of the BAS.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzes performance, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Aids the onsite building operations team in daily troubleshooting and repairs of the HVAC systems, focusing on the BAS controls, DDC system components, and devices.
- Co-monitors the operation of the BAS and HVAC systems, including alarm management, performance, programming, building occupancy schedules, temperature setpoints, lighting controls schedules, submeters, histories, trends, and other systems.
- Consults with business unit management and personnel to identify and document service delivery needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
- Inputs work orders in Asset Essential CMMS system. Completes self-assessed work orders in a timely manner.
- Must have Tridium AX & N-4 License required or have the ability to obtain it within the first 60 days of work.
- 2-10 years of experience with Trane, Tridium, Niagra, Distec, Johnson Controls Metasys, Rover, and Honeywell Building Automation System components repair.
- Electronics or equivalent job experience in the controls industry.
- Computer networking knowledge and skills.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of DDC controls as they apply to the HVAC industry.
- Has an interest in maintaining HVAC and DDC controls skills through a combination of self-study, corporate training, workshops, and other school or training development skills.
- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Assists Team with HVAC and BAS (Building Automation Systems) Support.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Able to climb ladders, stairs, and able to withstand heights.
