Job Summary

The Inside Sales Manager - HCM is a key role within the Core Sales organization, responsible for managing a sales territory, hiring, and developing Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs). This position focuses on coaching and developing sales talent, creating a demand generation plan to achieve quota, and driving operational excellence with KPIs and continuous improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a micro team of Inside Sales Representatives and manage the achievement of corporate objectives and sales quotas within budgeted financial guidelines.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire job applicants, conduct performance reviews, coaching, and mentor ISRs to enhance their selling skills and ensure consistency.
  • Initiate, participate in, and supervise ongoing training of assigned sales representatives in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales skills knowledge.
  • Manage and supervise daily activities and KPIs of the inside sales team and direct sales staff in meeting or exceeding Paychex corporate goals.
  • Monitor attainment versus forecast and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Identify potential management candidates and bring them to the attention of the Zone Manager.
  • Project a positive image in representing the corporation to clients and the community.
  • Ensure accuracy of weekly activity reports, audits commission and expense reports.
  • Foster a culture of proactivity, resilience, and accountability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or other relevant field.
  • 4 years of experience in Sales as a high performer.
  • 1 year of experience in Leadership.
  • 1 year of experience in Inside Sales.
  • 1 year of experience in HCM industry.
Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the starting base pay for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 annually + bonus with an OTE of $160,000 - $195,000. Please note that this does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
