Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Holiday Inn Boston - Bunker Hill Area. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our banquets and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Maintenance: Set up and clean tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware for banquets and events, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Audio-Visual Support: Assist with the set-up of audio-visual equipment and any other necessary equipment to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, including storage areas, to maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Assist with serving food and beverages during banquets and events, providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, promptly responding to any requests or concerns to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Banquet Houseperson or similar role is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure the highest level of quality in event execution.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as lift and move equipment as needed.
