At YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee, we are seeking a highly skilled Philanthropy Manager to lead our event development and partnerships efforts. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Job Summary

The Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with corporate and individual donors, as well as managing event sponsorships and logistics. This includes writing and submitting funding requests, coordinating meetings with potential donors, and developing strategies to achieve fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective corporate and individual donors
  • Manage event sponsorships and logistics, including planning and execution of signature fundraising events
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve fundraising goals
  • Write and submit funding requests, including letters of intent and proposals
  • Coordinate meetings with potential donors and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree and five or more years of relevant experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Previous supervisory experience is recommended
  • Experience working with database software programs, preferably Raiser's Edge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 10 paid holidays, and employer-paid life insurance.
