Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Account Manager plays a critical role in maintaining and developing existing customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong understanding of customer needs, a proactive approach to service delivery, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop existing customer relationships through high levels of service, resulting in business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services, increasing revenue potential within each customer's business portfolio.
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular client care visits to maintain a high-profile presence in the market and turn sales relationships into long-term partnerships.
- Formulate strategies to retain customers where revenue may be decreasing, using out-of-the-box thinking and collaboration with the Operations team.
- Complete standard weekly and quarterly reports, as well as ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Participate in sales and other training provided by Stericycle/Shred-It, as well as special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the District Sales Manager/Director of Sales.
- Maintain a responsible approach to all security and safety matters related to Shred-it operations, following company policies and procedures at all times.
