Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to lead the financial governance of all site operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring financial performance, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of workplace safety and lead the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Corporate Controlling and Internal Audit to design, deploy, and operate effective internal controls at the site.
  • Monitor and report on internal control execution on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and address them with management to ensure a strong internal control environment.
  • Lead the planning and budgeting process for all site operations in partnership with Corporate FP&A and Site GM.
  • Establish and monitor site-level financial and operational KPIs to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support financial and operational problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain a site-specific Integrated Inventory Management operating model with the Materials, Supply Chain, and Finance Operations team.
  • Ensure proper physical and transactional controls are in place with the Warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Understand key P&L drivers and proactively manage monthly and quarterly P&L goals with site leadership.
  • Collaborate with Site GM, Commercial team, and Corporate FP&A to optimize plant operations and supply chain performance.
  • Champion the Vaco culture across functions and teams.
  • Implement and operate cross-functional initiatives with Global Supply Chain, Account Operations, and Plant Operations.
  • Identify and implement best practices across multiple global sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 8 years of experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience leading and executing finance, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of costing principles and ability to drive financial efficiencies in operations and supply chain.
  • Experience implementing operational and financial KPIs in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional and leadership levels.

Compensation

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

As required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure:

$170K - $180K per year.
