Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Airframe & Powerplant Technician to join our team at Pratt & Whitney in Burlington, VT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications
  • Manage technical products, services logistics, and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications
Requirements
  • Requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • A&P License
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
  • A&P Technician experience
  • Shop/Bench refurbishment experience
  • Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs, and return to service of engines, modules, and components
  • Airframe experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC)-powered aircraft
  • Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface
  • Customer service experience
