A&P Engine Mechanic Job Summary

HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking a skilled A&P Engine Mechanic to join our team at the Pratt & Whitney Burlington facility in Burlington, VT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and replace engines, troubleshoot and repair engine malfunctions, and perform engine borescope inspections.
  • Inspect engines, engine sections, and accessories.
  • Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
Requirements:
  • Current A&P License is required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Work Environment:

Aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance, and be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to multi-task.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

HQ Aero Management Inc. offers a hassle-free weekly payroll, direct deposit on first pay, per diem for eligible applicants, and payroll advances. Additional benefits offered to HQ Aero Technicians include travel pay and longevity bonuses on majority of our contract assignments. Referral bonus is also offered to all of our technicians.
