Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Manage, confirm, process, and execute all guest check-ins/check-outs, room bookings, requests, modifications, and cancellations. Ensure payment security; verify and adjust billing as necessary. Activate and file room keys efficiently. Handle all guest inquiries and relay messages promptly. Generate contingency lists to maintain a record of all guests for emergency situations.

Clarify and demonstrate room features to guests; provide guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, operational hours, and local attractions.

Follow up on any unresolved requests or issues from the previous day to ensure resolution. Review and run daily reports/logs. Complete designated cashier and closing reports within the computer system. Accept and record wake-up call requests and relay them to the appropriate department. Count cash at the beginning and end of shifts; secure cash funds. Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change as needed. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.


Adhere to all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests.

Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
