Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rooms Controller to join our team at Marriott Marquis Houston. As a Rooms Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign rooms to guests according to their preferences and availability
  • Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets
  • Coordinate check-in and check-out procedures for arriving and departing guests
  • Review and accommodate requests for room changes and cancellations
  • Confirm reservations and cancellations
  • Review out-of-order rooms daily and ensure that rates match market codes
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests
  • File guest paperwork and documentation
  • Set up and process guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Activate room keys and secure valid payment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • None
