Your Responsibilities

As a proficient IT support professional, you will leverage your comprehensive understanding of industry standards and departmental protocols to deliver effective technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the primary contact for IT support inquiries

• Offering assistance with desktop, device, and teaching lab equipment

• Anticipating and addressing hardware and software requirements

• Identifying and resolving underlying issues proactively

• Overseeing and managing an inventory of IT assets

• Coordinating services with enterprise IT departments

• Developing standard operating procedures for consistent user experiences

• Conducting end-user training and creating documentation

• Providing AV support for various educational settings

• Acting as on-call IT support for educational programs.

Qualifications for Success

Essential:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of desktop and technical support systems.
  • Ability to perform complex technical support functions.
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute test plans for hardware and software.
  • Extensive experience with networking protocols such as DHCP and TCP/IP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • In-depth understanding of institutional business processes to provide optimal support.
  • Experience with complex scripting languages and software customization.
  • Ability to provide technical and administrative guidance.
  • Advanced skills in creating technical documentation for intricate processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of server internals for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Broad understanding of IT-related products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure and support end-user systems.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise system functions and interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and judgment in issue escalation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
