Job Summary:
Kforce is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract to hire. This role will be based on-site in Irvine, CA, and will require extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and servers to provide technical support for all corporate employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all corporate employees, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Windows operating systems and servers.
- Assist with the installation and setup of VPN clients, as well as the configuration of DNS, DHCP, SFTP, and SSO.
- Support the implementation of IT Add/Move/Change Requests, and ensure that all changes are properly documented.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues and provide timely support to employees.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, and other relevant technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on service desk support.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience working with IT ticketing systems, such as Freshdesk or Service Now.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
