Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at the Center for Primary Care. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Screen and prioritize patient calls, scheduling appointments as needed
  • Manage patient registration, including collecting necessary information and documents
  • Accurately enter data into our electronic medical records system
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, records, and patient documentation
  • Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office, assisting with tasks as needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ABROE certification or ability to obtain within eligibility
  • Experience with electronic medical records and computer software preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
