Who You'll Collaborate With

In this role, you will partner with teams across Product Development, Product Engineering, Customer Quality Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Product Operations, and Manufacturing Operations, along with our manufacturing partners, to ensure that product quality not only meets but surpasses the established quality, reliability, and performance standards. You will have the opportunity to drive change and elevate product quality in collaboration with a diverse, multi-functional team, positively impacting Silicon One's clientele.

Who You Are

  • You possess strong data analytics skills, capable of transforming and modeling data to uncover valuable insights, draw conclusions, and support informed decision-making. Your understanding of quality measurement and enhancement is robust.
  • You can identify technical risks and provide assessments along with recommended strategies to uphold customer satisfaction and the quality of Silicon One products.
  • You are adept at determining the necessity of implementing appropriate screening or containment measures based on failure mechanisms and data analysis until long-term corrective actions are established.
  • You can compile technical reports and detailed failure analyses, summarizing key insights and effectively communicating the overall quality status to multi-functional teams.
  • You have experience in change management, qualifications, product or process transitions, and a solid understanding of electronic manufacturing processes.

What You'll Accomplish

  • You will act as the champion for comprehensive product quality from New Product Introduction Quality to Field Quality. As the quality advocate, you will spearhead quality improvement initiatives and engage closely with both internal and external partners to achieve this goal.
  • In this capacity:
    • You will analyze data to identify trends in product quality performance, seek opportunities for improvement through failure analysis, and provide data insights and visualizations to assist engineering in pursuing root causes and implementing closed-loop actions for product design and/or process solutions.
    • You will oversee Quality Planning, ensuring that Product Compliance adheres to approved standards.
    • You will evaluate and compare factory data against field trends to lead factory yield performance (DPPM).
    • You will collaborate with design and product engineering to guide product development milestones.
    • You will manage the PCN (Product Change Notice) process, planning builds and advising stakeholders.
    • You will support Maverick Lot Management (NCL) and resolve decisions based on the MRB (Material Review Board).
    • You will serve as the Primary Crisis Manager, acting as the main point of contact for product quality issues, risks, and assessments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical) or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry and at least 10 years in quality engineering.
  • Previous management experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with 8D Issue Resolution Process methodologies is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking applications and testing is advantageous.
