Who You'll Collaborate With

In this role, you will engage with teams across Product Development, Product Engineering, Customer Quality Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Product Operations, and Manufacturing Operations, as well as with our manufacturing partners. Your focus will be to ensure that product quality aligns with or surpasses the established quality, reliability, and performance standards set by the business. You will have the opportunity to drive change and enhance product quality in partnership with a diverse, multi-functional team, positively impacting Silicon One's clientele.

Who You Are

  • You possess strong data analytics skills, enabling you to transform and model data to uncover valuable insights, draw conclusions, and support informed decision-making. Your understanding of quality measurement and improvement is robust.
  • You can assess technical risks and provide evaluations along with recommended strategies to uphold customer satisfaction and the quality of Silicon One products.
  • You are capable of determining the necessity for appropriate screening or containment measures based on failure mechanisms and data analysis until long-term corrective actions are implemented.
  • You can prepare comprehensive technical reports and detailed failure analyses, summarizing key insights and effectively communicating overall quality status to multi-functional teams.
  • You have experience in change management, qualifications, product or process transitions, and a solid understanding of electronic manufacturing processes.

What You'll Accomplish

  • You will serve as the advocate for comprehensive product quality, overseeing New Product Introduction Quality and Field Quality. As a quality champion, you will spearhead quality enhancement initiatives and collaborate closely with both internal and external partners to achieve these goals.
  • In this capacity:
    • You will analyze data to identify trends in product quality performance, uncover improvement opportunities through failure analysis, and provide data insights and visualizations to assist engineering in pursuing root causes and implementing closed-loop actions for product design and/or process solutions.
    • You will be responsible for Quality Planning, ensuring that Product Compliance adheres to approved standards.
    • You will review and analyze factory data, comparing it with field trends to lead factory yield performance (DPPM).
    • You will collaborate with design and product engineering to guide product development milestones.
    • You will oversee the Product Change Notice (PCN) process, planning and advising stakeholders accordingly.
    • You will support Maverick Lot Management (NCL) and resolve decisions based on the Material Review Board (MRB).
    • You will act as the Primary Crisis Manager, serving as the main point of contact for product quality issues, risks, and assessments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical) or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry and at least 10 years in quality engineering.
  • Previous management experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with 8D Issue Resolution Process methodologies is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • An understanding of networking applications and testing is advantageous.
