Position Title: Fabrication Division Controller

Job Objective:

The Fabrication Division Controller is tasked with overseeing all financial dimensions of regional operations, which encompasses financial forecasting, strategic planning, budgeting, and the establishment of financial control mechanisms. This role necessitates close collaboration with Manufacturing Operations Leaders to enhance various business facets, including operational efficiency, cost management, process optimization, internal control development, compliance, and sophisticated financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals focused on the financial operations of the region, including forecasting, budgeting, credit management, cost accounting, and financial controls.
  • Oversee routine procedures and responsibilities associated with the regional controller function.
  • Provide strategic advice to regional management to optimize operational performance.
  • Analyze financial data to guide management decisions aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and oversee internal control systems in accordance with directives from the Group Controller and Manager of Tax & Treasury.
  • Monitor and manage regional credit and collection processes.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and status reports for regional and corporate leadership, facilitating discussions on financial matters.
  • Identify and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, in line with programs set by the Group Controller and Manager of Tax & Treasury.
  • Develop and implement systems to manage manufacturing costs and monitor product line and customer profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, communication, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.
  • International experience is advantageous.
  • Specific expertise in Contract Metal Fabrication, Machining, or similar manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with integrated manufacturing and financial IT systems, with a preference for Oracle experience.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
