About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Storage Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team, you will be responsible for helping Startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
  • Own the Startup GTM strategy and execution for Storage in eastern US, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
About the Team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in storage infrastructure solutions and cloud storage services/technologies such as automation, optimization, and security
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals
  • Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Compensation

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
