About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Storage Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our cloud storage solutions, working closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to drive revenue growth and customer adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cloud storage solutions, including market research, competitive analysis, and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive revenue growth and customer adoption.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders on cloud storage solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud storage and storage infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in cloud storage, storage infrastructure solutions, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in cloud storage services/technologies, including automation, optimization, and security.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with opensource software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong databased storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
  • Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking prowess.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • An Advanced degree highly preferred, especially an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering.
