As a Sales/Estimating Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and estimating process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of estimates, and providing exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Bidding: Prepare and review estimates, bids, and budgets for residential new construction and multi-family construction projects.
  • Administrative Support: Provide clerical and administrative support to the sales and estimating team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with superiors, coworkers, builders, and inspectors.
  • Site Visits: Visit construction sites to observe methods of construction and gain additional insight to accurately estimate jobs.
  • Resource Management: Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, and other relevant data.
  • Estimate Review: Review all estimates with the Group Leader or Project Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
  • Document Management: Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to backup estimate figures and file all incoming vendor quotes and subcontractor quotes in the job folder.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Track estimates for status and maintain a bid sheet with all pertinent information.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend departmental meetings as required and participate in regular in-person attendance.
