Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the temporary deactivation of HVAC systems and electrical components essential for renovation, repair, and construction projects.
  • Plan, fabricate, install, and dismantle various HVAC equipment and systems within the facility.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in HVAC systems and components, implementing effective corrective and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate records for all HVAC equipment and systems within the facility.
  • Oversee the inventory of replacement electrical components and systems.
  • Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to manage work orders and document equipment history.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on all HVAC and refrigeration systems in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure quality control for new installations or replacements of HVAC and refrigeration systems executed by external contractors.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies such as power outages, HVAC failures, ruptured pipes, fires, or other critical situations as per established emergency response protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Certification in HVAC or maintenance (EPA Refrigerant Recovery) is mandatory.
  • An associate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry is required.
  • Experience in hospital maintenance, construction, or mechanical systems for at least 3 years is preferred.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected.
