Logistics Support Specialist

Moore Advanced Inc. is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate to enhance our operations.
Position Details:
This role is entirely on-site.
Compensation:
Day shift: $21/hour, Night shift: $22/hour.
Employment Type:
Temp to Hire.
Shift Availability:
Day Position #5080: 5am-2pm or 8am-5pm. Candidates must be available from 5am-5pm.
Night Position: 6pm-6am. Sunday-Tuesday, Wednesday-Friday, alternating Saturdays.
Day Position #2:
Mon - Tues - Wed, every other weekend and as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
Respond to emails, confirm deliveries, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. This role encompasses all aspects of dispatch operations, excluding the actual dispatching of trucks.
Training:
Training will occur Sun-Wed/every other Saturday for a minimum of 3 weeks, potentially during day or night shifts.
Role Summary:
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is primarily responsible for managing relationships between carriers, customers, and sales teams for assigned accounts. The CSA becomes well-acquainted with the customer's organization, product requirements, processes, and collaborates with the Sales team to deliver exceptional service.
Full Role Description:
Acts as the main point of contact between our client and external customers. Responsible for all facets of the relationship, including analyzing incoming communications and providing prompt resolutions. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with key internal contacts.
Utilizes various dispatch systems (TES, LME, FOUR KITES, OTR) and external scheduling systems (RETAILIX, RETAIL LINK, UNFI, ONE NETWORK, etc.) to resolve issues across all business units. Maintains knowledge of client policies, procedures, and software applications, as well as the organizational structure and procedures of external customers. Identifies and implements cost-effective solutions to meet client and customer needs, creatively resolving issues that may negatively impact delivery processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Experience:
1-3 years of business experience in transportation or logistics, not just standard customer service.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Office applications; the majority of communication is conducted via email, potentially exceeding 300 emails per day.
Communication Skills:
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills; conflict management abilities; capacity to multitask; positive attitude; problem-solving skills; negotiation skills.
