Federal Records Management Specialist

At InfiniSource Consulting Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Records Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out tasks under the direction and supervision of the Records Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze, understand, and accurately apply federal records management principles.
- Coordinate the proper disposition of records consistent with Agency practices.
- Assist with orientating and training agency staff on life-cycle records management processes.
- Serve as the first line of communication to agency staff for records management inquiries.
- Provide records depository services, including responding to agency inquiries and assisting with the identification of appropriate record dispositions.
- Coordinate records retirement services, including retrieving retirement submissions in Washington.
- Provide limited document scanning services for small-scale document conversion projects.
- Support management tasks, including data entry, coordination, and control within various document management and information management systems.
- Must have a Secret-level security clearance.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a federal records management environment.
- Must be knowledgeable of the full life-cycle of federal records management processes.
- Experience transferring records to the federal records center (FRC).
- Experience training personnel in Records Management (RM) procedures.
- Experience responding to questions through an email database.
- Experience approving shelf lists and locating the proper disposal authority for records.
- Experience with handling FOIA requests and auditing boxes.
- Experience with working on File Plans and Essential Records Submissions.
- Must be personable, articulate, knowledgeable, professional, and able to lift 35 pounds.
