About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Strategist to join our team at The Martin Agency. As a key member of our social media team, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive business results and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies: Create and implement social media strategies that align with our business objectives and engage our audience.
  • Be the Social Media Authority: Ensure that our social media presence is best-in-class and that we are meeting the highest standards in the industry.
  • Advocate for Visibility: Develop and execute plans to increase visibility and reach for our brands, telling compelling and audience-informed stories.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor and interpret cultural and social trends relevant to our clients' businesses and elevate them to our creative and social media teams to inform our work.
  • Lead Cross-Discipline Input: Lead the development of social media POVs, playbooks, and trends reports, and orchestrate cross-discipline input from creative, communications, data, and other teams.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Serve as the day-to-day client consultant on social media strategy, lead client meetings, and manage client relationships.
  • Shepherd Creative Teams: Work with creative teams, social media managers, and analysts to ensure that campaign goals and benchmarks are met in all pieces of content.
  • Develop Strategic Narratives: Work with analysts to set social frameworks and measurement plans, and develop strategic narratives for performance reports that make our impact undeniable.
  • Contribute to New Business Pitches: Contribute to new business pitches and business development efforts.
  • Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with strategic platform partners, such as TikTok, Meta, Snap, and Threads.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Significant Relevant Work Experience: A bachelor's degree or significant relevant work experience in advertising, marketing, entertainment, public relations/communications, or content fields.
  • 4+ Years of Experience: 4+ years of experience developing social strategies within advertising, marketing, entertainment, public relations/communications, or content fields.
  • Deep Fascination with Internet Culture: A deep fascination with internet culture and a strong understanding of the latest trends and platforms.
  • Significant Experience in Social Media Content Creation: Significant experience in conceiving, delivering, and executing social media content for leading brands with undeniable impact.
  • Proficiency in Designing Social Playbooks: Proficiency in designing social playbooks and onboarding clients.
  • Excellent Writing Skills: Excellent and engaging writing skills, especially in crafting strategic narratives.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently, shaping and delivering on your own projects and tracking/proving their success.
  • Engaging Communicator and Collaborator: An engaging communicator, collaborator, and negotiator, with the ability to work with a diverse group of people and communicate cross-culturally and across departments.
