Job Summary

As a key member of our public affairs team, you will be responsible for designing engaging print and digital materials that effectively communicate our clients' messages and support our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Print Design: Design and produce high-quality print materials, including fact sheets, policy briefs, annual reports, and promotional materials, that effectively communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Digital Design: Design and produce digital content, such as digital advertising and social media campaigns, that engage and persuade target audiences.
  • Web Design: Create visually appealing web designs for our website and digital advocacy platforms, working closely with our in-house developer to ensure seamless integration.
  • Design Templates: Develop and maintain design templates for consistent branding and messaging across public affairs and government relations contexts.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with policy experts, communication strategists, and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear, accessible visual content.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and various client brand standards.
  • Support: Provide design support for in-house event materials, presentations, proposals, and other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in print and web design, preferably with a focus on public affairs, government relations, or similar sectors.
  • Skills: Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both print and digital design, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and web design tools (Figma). Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
