Job Overview:

The esteemed Hampton Inn & Suites is in search of a committed part-time Guest Service Agent who is eager to cross-train and assist as a Breakfast Hostess. The primary responsibility of the Guest Service Agent is to warmly welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner. This role includes registering guests, providing attentive service throughout their stay, resolving any guest issues, and ensuring a pleasant farewell upon check-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor and maintain eye contact.
  2. Utilize effective communication skills to listen to guest requests and respond appropriately.
  3. Implement operational and sales strategies to optimize occupancy rates and promote hotel amenities.
  4. Manage cash transactions in accordance with accounting protocols.
  5. Foster effective communication within the Front Office and across all hotel departments.
  6. Adhere to safety and security protocols, responding appropriately in emergency situations.
  7. Operate front office technology and equipment efficiently.
  8. Complete the registration process, ensuring accuracy in guest information and payment methods.
  9. Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner, documenting solutions as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
