Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional internal and external service, driving restaurant sales and profitability, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Internal Service Excellence: Responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, and evaluating restaurant staff. Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate development and talent; implement training systems for all employees; identify and nurture internal candidates for advancement. Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure the successful execution of the Service Profit Chain and maintain a welcoming, safe, and clean environment. Recognize and reward high-performing employees, while adhering to all labor laws and regulations.

- External Service Quality: Manage daily operations to achieve superior restaurant performance. Ensure guests receive an outstanding experience by effectively training staff and holding the team accountable for delivering high-quality service and food. Regularly review and adjust practices to enhance guest satisfaction, while maintaining visibility and interaction with guests to address concerns promptly and professionally.

- Profit Maximization: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance, identifying trends and developing action plans for improvement. Utilize data to drive business results and ensure adherence to budgetary goals. Develop strategies to enhance restaurant sales and profitability by leveraging the Service Profit Chain.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Shift Leader or 1 year as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment for internal candidates; external candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience with P&L responsibility.

Skills: Must be at least 18 years old; complete required training and certifications. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in computer applications and a valid driver's license are required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift; lift and carry weights between 10-65 lbs; move freely throughout the restaurant; operate restaurant equipment; and use a computer keyboard.
