About Us:

We are currently looking for a Production Technician to join our team at our production facility. Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in harvest operations including preparation, seed sampling, and unloading.
  • Execute various tasks related to plant, field, and warehouse functions that adapt with seasonal changes.
  • Monitor automated machinery for processes like harvesting, conditioning, and packaging.
  • Conduct production tasks such as seed conditioning, treating, and packaging.
  • Oversee product returns and sorting activities.
  • Participate in field tasks including scouting and inspection.
  • Utilize technology and computerized systems for task execution.
  • Perform warehouse duties including forklift operation and sample collection.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain GED within twelve months of employment.
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to work in various conditions, including elevated areas and extreme weather.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt across different operational areas.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with technology and computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and solve problems effectively.
  • Commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak production times.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in operations or manufacturing within agriculture.
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment.
