Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of various processing equipment to ensure efficient plant functionality.
  • Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and maintain compliance with established quality standards.
  • Gather and document data for ongoing improvement initiatives and production metrics.
  • Support warehousing tasks, including the operation of forklifts.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and tools.
  • Contribute to Process Safety Management and uphold safety protocols.
  • Conduct seasonal preparations, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of machinery and facilities.
  • Lead and participate in grounds and facility upkeep as necessary.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance tools to identify and address potential equipment failures.
  • Develop and update preventive maintenance plans for various machinery.
  • Engage in fabrication projects aimed at enhancing plant operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of equipment and schematics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Industrial Electromechanical or Maintenance roles (HVAC, Millwright, Welding, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, etc.).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Proficient in technology with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and solve problems effectively.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Willingness to work overtime and be available on-call during peak production times.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Maintenance, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Electrical, or a related field.
  • Experience with heating/cooling systems, refrigeration, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • General knowledge of agricultural equipment.
