About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Market Insights to join our team at Gilead Sciences, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market research plans to support business objectives, including market sizing, trend analysis, and competitive landscape assessments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement research studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, using data visualization and storytelling techniques to communicate complex insights.
  • Manage and mentor a team of market research analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging issues, identifying opportunities for Gilead to innovate and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies, leveraging market research insights to inform product development, marketing, and sales initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of research services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality insights and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of analysts.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong understanding of market research and business intelligence principles.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing business strategies, leveraging market research insights to drive growth and innovation.
