Patient Relations Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Relations Representative to join our team at Marshall B. Ketchum University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, while ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient information.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations
- Manage patient flow and check-in/check-out processes
- Verify patient information and update records as necessary
- Process payments and handle cash, credit, and check transactions
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Escalate complex issues to supervisor or manager as needed
- Administrative Support
- Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks
- Prepare and distribute patient materials, such as appointment reminders and welcome packets
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to resolve issues and improve patient experience
Requirements
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience
- Minimum 6 months of customer service or front desk experience required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications
