Job Role - Front Office Receptionist (Care Coordinator)

We are in search of a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to become an integral part of our expanding team, which includes Therapists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatrists.

In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks within the clinic, including:

  • Handling phone communications
  • Managing email correspondence
  • Insurance verification
  • Collecting patient copayments
  • Patient check-in and check-out procedures
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Prior authorization processes
  • Referral submissions and tracking
  • Assisting clinical staff with administrative duties

This is a long-term position. We are looking for a candidate who is interested in a stable role within our organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Spanish speaking is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Previous experience in mental health or psychiatric settings is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Proficient with technology and various software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Practice Fusion is a plus

This is a full-time position. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
