Job Title: Part-Time Residential Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Part-Time Residential Assistant to join our team at NCCF. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and success of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist residents with daily living skills, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or well-being to the program manager.
  • Participate in case management and team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop individualized plans.
  • Administer medication as needed and monitor medication compliance.
  • Conduct regular building inspections and apartment searches to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Participate in fire evacuation drills and ensure residents are aware of emergency procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the program manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of relevant residential experience.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional teamwork orientation, good written and oral communication skills, and cross-cultural competencies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Salary: $17.50 - $21 per hour.
