Position Title: Clinical Coordination Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a clinical intermediary to relay information and feedback among various METC programs, Clinical Coordinators, and medical treatment facilities.
  • Collaborate with regional educational institutions and potential clinical training partners to enhance clinical site availability and address conflicts with METC.
  • Maintain regular communication with METC Program Directors and Clinical Coordinators to facilitate student placements in clinical training environments.
  • Ensure compliance of clinical trainees with accreditation standards in conjunction with training facility personnel and regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate orientation standards for medical treatment facilities with Program Directors to ensure adherence to requirements.
  • Monitor and report on monthly metrics related to clinical training status, preparing presentations for leadership as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (required).
  • Current CPR certification (required).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical coordinator role within a healthcare setting (required).
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and coding systems (preferred).
  • Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and IT proficiency.
