Overview

The ITS Solutions Architect and Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) / Head of ITS by:
  • Delivering technical insights on architectural frameworks and decisions for the ITS (IT Production Services – Infrastructure) division.
  • Overseeing and providing expertise for significant ITS project outcomes for the organization.
Department Insight

ITS, or Information Technology Production Services, is responsible for both operational and transformative activities concerning all IT Infrastructure across the Americas.

ITS is tasked with the design and execution of infrastructures, the development of GIT applications, and the establishment of technical security systems along with contingency plans.

Supporting approximately 1200 users and systems across multiple locations, ITS manages a technical infrastructure distributed among three data centers.

The technologies employed include core infrastructures (Systems, Storage, Database, Network, and Security), end-user services (Citrix, VDI, and communication services), monitoring tools, and associated infrastructure (middleware platforms such as Control-M, MQ, CFT, Connect-Direct).

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Duties:

Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's infrastructure layers, particularly focusing on networking.

Design architectural frameworks for ITS initiatives across the US and Americas region.

Evaluate architectural designs submitted by our Head Office.

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Americas regarding ITS matters with the Head Office.

Drive continuous enhancements for the ITS setup within the Americas.

Address audit inquiries from both internal and external sources, including regulatory bodies.

Collaborate and coordinate with the ISS department on ITS solutions.


  • Project Management Responsibilities:

Function as Project Manager / PMO for ITS projects, which includes:

  • Change management activities, defining roles and responsibilities, creating service level agreements, and reviewing current processes.
  • Project scoping, planning, and monitoring.
  • Conducting risk assessments related to various IT activities involved in the projects.
  • Organizing training sessions and User Acceptance Testing.

Define, communicate, and uphold standards across the local Global IT division in alignment with the System Product Life Cycle and Global GIT project management methodologies.

Ensure compliance with the System Project Life Cycle (SPLC) and assist in producing key deliverables as outlined by the SPLC.

Implement and develop enhancements based on LEAN-CA-CIB best practices.

Facilitate working groups, project teams, and steering committees.

Ensure that all system implementations adhere to regulatory standards and are conducted in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.

Collaborate with internal auditors during their pre-implementation assessments.
