Position Summary: The Construction Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication among Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. This role encompasses managing documentation and information flow within established timelines to align with project objectives and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and external partners, embodying the organization's core values.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor sourcing, including material pricing and project estimation.
  • Communicate project details effectively with stakeholders, including Owners and General Contractors.
  • Implement an organized filing system for project documentation.
  • Continuously identify and apply more efficient processes to enhance workflow.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with all project participants to guarantee timely information exchange.
  • Assist various departments as needed, including production scheduling and site management.
  • Review project locations and plans to assess constructability and material requirements.
  • Conduct field verification for accurate measurements and liaise with Project Managers and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with management to develop streamlined processes for material sourcing and logistics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the construction sector.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Construction Management or a related field is required.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar 3D modeling software is advantageous.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage goal-oriented projects.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and understand project timelines.
  • Must be able to communicate proposals effectively to senior management.

Physical Requirements: This role primarily involves desk work, but occasional site visits may be necessary. The employee must be able to perform tasks that require walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposure to various environmental conditions may occur during site visits.
