This will involve close collaboration with Mezmo's technical services team to deliver impactful, value-driven demonstrations, orchestrating successful validation events, and devising strategies that cater to the essential needs and business objectives of prospects.
In this position, you will have the chance to engage with cutting-edge telemetry pipeline and log analysis technologies, utilizing your innovative thinking to develop solutions that exceed customer expectations while contributing positively to the company's revenue growth. Mezmo's Lead Solutions Architects are instrumental in driving revenue by facilitating the acquisition of new clients and are integral to our sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential clients, alongside or independently from an Account Executive, to identify and comprehend their challenges in utilizing telemetry data for observability and related functions.
- Showcase the Mezmo platform to assure prospects that it can effectively meet their challenges and requirements.
- Conduct Technical Validation events, allowing prospects to witness firsthand how the Mezmo platform can be tailored to their needs and assist in building a business case for purchase.
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance lead generation initiatives, including webinars and industry conferences.
- Support the business development team in pinpointing the right contacts and crafting effective messaging to capture attention and generate sales leads.
- Assist in responding to inquiries from prospects regarding information or proposals.
- Work with the Technical Services team to develop sales collateral, including whitepapers, solution demonstrations, and online workshops.
- Support the Customer Success and Account Executive teams in expanding the Mezmo solution's presence within existing clients by identifying new use cases and promoting Mezmo's capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or solution engineering role, successfully marketing a complex platform to a technical audience.
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex technical sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in constructing and presenting proposed solution architectures.
- Familiarity with observability tools, particularly those utilized for interpreting and analyzing telemetry data.
- Experience in data analysis using engineering techniques, consolidating findings, and reporting recommendations.
- Understanding of public cloud services and the components that constitute their infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities, responsibilities, objectives, and desired outcomes.
- Strong operational capabilities with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated learner with a comfort level in acquiring new knowledge or technologies to understand their relevance to the Mezmo platform for effective communication and sales.
- Proven ability to collaborate with various segments of a Go-To-Market organization, including sales, product marketing, and business development.
Compensation: This role offers a competitive OTE starting salary range of $180,000 to $200,000, along with equity and benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors, including individual skills, experience, and location.
