Position Overview:
The Customer Service Administrator II plays a crucial role in enhancing sales effectiveness by executing administrative tasks for designated clients. This role involves collaboration with business managers, Customer Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers, focusing on both pre-award and post-award activities. The administrator ensures effective communication between the organization, its clients, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate customer purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Manage and administer purchase orders, ensuring all essential requirements are met efficiently.
- Input purchase order specifications into the ERP system and provide order confirmations to clients.
- Address complex customer inquiries and maintain high-value customer accounts.
- Prepare prompt responses to customer requests for quotes, coordinating internally to relay pricing and delivery details.
- Assist accounts receivable in resolving overdue payment issues for assigned clients.
- Process warranty returns and ensure timely handling to meet customer expectations.
- Foster and develop relationships with clients by providing accurate and timely updates on shipments through various communication methods.
- Administer customer web portals to manage returned goods and related transactions.
- Support demand management to ensure accurate customer forecasts are entered into the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with applicable export regulations.
- Validate customer scorecards and address discrepancies with internal data.
- Coordinate the scheduling and planning of new product shipments and milestone billings.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing Crane Business System tools.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Train new Customer Service Administrators on essential functions and continuously seek process improvements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant customer service role.
Knowledge: Familiarity with business administration concepts, customer portals, export regulations, and compliance requirements.
Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and strong organizational and communication abilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle and in aerospace manufacturing.
Working Conditions: Standard office environment with potential exposure to manufacturing conditions.
Eligibility Requirements: Access to controlled data is required; only US persons will be considered for this position.
