Sample Management Specialist

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services (PSS) is seeking a highly skilled Sample Management Scientist to join our team. As a Sample Management Scientist, you will play a critical role in supporting vaccine, biologic, or small molecule drug candidates in development within a bioanalytical laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the chain of custody of regulated bioanalytical samples across various matrices and critical reagents from receipt through shipment/disposal.
- Perform sample or reagent aliquoting, utilizing lab automation and/or manual pipetting to facilitate this process.
- Work within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Reagent Database, Electronic Lab Notebook, or other appropriate system to ensure proper tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate with study personnel at GLP or clinical sites for the coordination of sample shipments, resolution of sample discrepancies, and/or sample reconciliation.
- Manage freezers and temperature monitoring systems, including handling temperature alarms, maintenance, and/or setup of new units.
- Collaborate with sample management staff across bioanalytical testing labs and sites for cross-training, process improvement, and support of bioanalytical labs within the department.
- Operate within departmental SOPs and regulatory guidance.
- B.S. Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or an M.S. with 1-2 years of related experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
