Laboratory Analyst II

Join Eurofins USA Environment Testing as a Laboratory Analyst II and contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet.

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst II to join our team in Arvada, CO. As a Laboratory Analyst II, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard and complex testing methods. You will validate and review data for accuracy, upload laboratory data into our LIMS system, and operate laboratory instruments with discretion and judgment.

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard and complex testing methods.
• Validate and review data for accuracy through Level I reviews.
• Upload laboratory data into our LIMS system to generate data packages for delivery to clients.
• Operate laboratory instruments with discretion and judgment.
• Perform Level I review of data produced to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain logbooks and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
• Responsible for performing job functions within Eurofins Environment Testing's EHS and QA standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards for work area.
• Inventories and stocks laboratory supplies.
• Orders supplies.
• Washes and inventories glassware.
• Writes NCM's for projects with QA issues.
• Purges analyzed samples.
• Assists in training new analysts on laboratory procedures.
• Assists in other areas of laboratory when needed.

• Ability to use calculator/mathematical formulas and concepts.
• Complete work within time and quality constraints.
• Work independently following written or verbal instructions.

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating laboratory instruments like, ICP-AES/ICP-MS, GCMS, and LCMS.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment.
• Previous production-oriented work is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
