Unity Works Staffing & Solutions is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for selecting, developing, and managing our supply base for production parts, components, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and develop suppliers for production parts, components, and systems
  • Negotiate long-term agreements and maintain competitive pricing
  • Analyze supplier timelines and provide notification of gaps or errors
  • Manage asset inventory and ensure accurate records
  • Submit and approve ISIRs for new part development
  • Manage supplier performance and implement improvement plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • 2-5 years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OEM or parts components supplier experience
  • Experience with SAP system
  • Knowledge of supply chain and accounting processes
